Yesterday's photo was taken in the greenhouse at Birmingham Botanical Gardens. They have a wing of the greenhouse that is specifically for camellias. There are a wide variety of hybrids among the various plants. The one I shot yesterday is a mostly white bloom but has a faint blush of pink in a few places. The black & white conversion seemed to focus more on the textures, shadows, and light.

Today's photo was made late this afternoon. It was shot between the lake and the trail in our subdivision. Tree branches against the sky are one of my favorites. They form such unique, intricate designs.
