Gerry Daniel > crossing after having my camera ruined in an accidental tumble into a creek on the Saturday following Thanksgiving, i am happy to announce that i received a brand new Nikon D700 today to replace the ruined camera. since i had the extended protection plan, it didn't cost me anything...unless you count the 6 weeks or so that i had no camera and took no photographs some of the down time was spent reviewing my work over the past couple of years and trying to find ways to keep improving and growing as a photographer with that being said, i present an image from my first shots of 2010, they were taken this afternoon, hope i haven't forgotten how to shoot

Gerry Daniel > This is one of those photos that almost never happened. I was finished shooting and was at my car about to put my gear back in the car. The flowers were in a small bed in the parking lot and caught my eye. Song for the day is "DLZ" from the "Dear Science (Bonus Track Version)" album by TV On the Radio.
